This policy explains what data FastingTimeCalculator.com collects, how it's used, and your rights. We've written it in plain language because you shouldn't need a lawyer to understand what happens with your information. What We Collect (and What We Don't)

Our fasting calculators and calorie estimators run entirely in your browser. When you enter your last meal time, fasting protocol, weight, age, or sex, those values are processed locally on your device. None of that information is sent to our servers, saved to a database, or shared with any third party.

FastingTimeCalculator.com does not require you to sign up, log in, or create an account. We don't ask for your email address, phone number, payment details, or any other personal identifier to use the tools. You can use every calculator on this site without telling us who you are.

Data Your Browser Stores Locally

The calculators may save your last-used preferences (such as your preferred fasting protocol or dark/light mode choice) in your browser's localStorage so you don't have to re-enter them each visit. This data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage (how many people visit the 16:8 calculator versus OMAD, which blog posts are popular, what countries our readers come from). These services do not set tracking cookies, do not build advertising profiles, and do not identify individual users across websites. We see traffic patterns, not people.

Advertising

We may display advertisements through Google AdSense on some pages. When ads are enabled, Google may set cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings or manage cookies through your browser. Declining ads does not affect your access to the calculators, all tools work the same with or without ad consent.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your data. Ever.
  • We don't send newsletters, marketing emails, or promotional messages.
  • We don't partner with supplement brands, meal-plan services, or coaching programs that pay for endorsements.
  • We don't track you across other websites.
  • We don't share calculator inputs with third parties because we never receive them in the first place.

Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Under the GDPR (European Union) and CCPA (California), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export any personal data held about you. Because our calculators don't collect personal data, there's nothing stored on our end to access or delete. If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, contact us and we'll remove it from our inbox within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

FastingTimeCalculator.com is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. Intermittent fasting is not appropriate for children and adolescents, the tools on this site are designed for adult audiences.

Changes to This Policy

If we materially change how we handle data, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above. Minor wording clarifications may happen without notice. Major changes (new analytics providers, new data categories) will be announced at the top of this page.
